Thanks for your input!

Re: Talk to me about your TOWELS
I registered for nice towels at Fortunoff, but I REALLY love the Hotel Collection towels at Macy's. I find them really soft and when they are on sale they're a good price. We got all the towels we registered for, but I bought 2 of the Hotel Collection bath sheets (they are huge!) and if our house has another bathroom I will get those towels for that room.
I can't remember the name of the towels from Fortunoff. They are nice but they're not the same as the Hotel Collection ones.

I have the Ralph Lauren collection from Fortunoff ... they are already starting to shred (the hem is becoming loose) and I've been married only 2 months

Re: Talk to me about what kind of Towels you have.
My aunt bought me a ton of Land's End Egyptian Towels (made with Egyptian cotton). These are the plushest, softest towels I've ever used! Seriously, I have much more expensive towels, but they don't compare.

I have the Hotel collection ones - I looo-ooove them! We have four regular ones and two bath sheets, they're great. But, they don't come in great colors I have white, which are great, becuase they're really like hotel towels, but I would've liked something a bit darker.

I have the same ones but I have had no problem with them shredding.

Re: Talk to me about what kind of Towels you have.
Just recently bought two different sets of towels so I'll share my experience. I bought they most expensive set at Bed Bath and Beyond. Some egyptian cotton. don't remember the exact brand. they were $14 for the bath towel. Anyway, I've discovered the hard way that there is such a thing as a towel that's too soft. Yuk. I've washed them 3 times and there's still fuzz coming off them. I do not recommend. Then I bought Martex Platinum towels-AWESOME. The perfect blend of soft, yet still capable of drying and no shedding!!!!! Who knew it was difficult to buy towels. ugh

I registered for these too - they are so amazing!
I have Ralph Lauren ones now and I HATE them - such crappy quality. I don't have their highest end towels, though, those might be better.
