tall centerpieces in clear vases with candles in it

I would like to have tall centerpieces in clear vases with small votive like candles hanging somewhere from it. My florist told me that this could not be done. I dont understand why. Does anyone have examples of what I am trying to explain? And what are those small triangular shaped candle holders that you can hang with ribbon from an arrangement called? Someone told me zodiacs, but nobody seems to understand what I am talking about. I just want a tall centerpiece in a vase with candles in it!!

Go to www.flowermichele.com under centerpieces they have raised centerpieces with what I think you are looking for.

I've seen that before - a vase with flowering branches and the dropped votives hanging from them. Need the branches to support the weight of the votives.
Try a different florist.
I'm using James Cress in Smithtown.

They can definitely do it! Check my album and my review. I have those centerpieces you are talking about.

Thank you so much. You looked beautiful. My dress is similar and I loved your pics. Your dog is adorable!

Thanks so much!

The flowers are orchids, and the branches are called curly willow in case they need to know the details. Good Luck!

ETA - I also wanted the candles where the holders are a v shape but they told me that the curly willow branches are too fragile for that and those candle holders are a lot heavier. They tried it in front of me when I went to look at the sample and the whole thing drooped. Maybe that's what they are referring to when they say it can't be done? I think cherry blossoms are a lot stronger and can support those holders.
