Taller Brides Ques

What type of shoes are you wearing?

I am a little over 5'10 without any shoes on and FH is 5'10 (I say hes 5'9 1/2) so I dont want to be taller than him.

Is it bad if I wear flats?

I am 5'10 and FH is 5'8. I plan on wearing flats. Maybe ballet flats or something. I hope I can find something cute that doesn't look like a 5years shoes, LOL.

Yea, that is why I was thinking ballet flats might be cuter. But I just found these, they are very cute actually, but they are not flat...they have a 2' heel

Myself and DH are the same height, 5'10. So I wore ballet flats. I got mine in silver to match the silver threads in my dress.

I bought them in Smithaven Mall at Bakers in late spring. If you're looking for silver, now would prolly be the best time to get them bc I think silver is more of a Winter color.

That's a good idea!
I went cheap for those shoes since I knew I would never wear them again. IDK how you feel about cheap shoes but, Target has some silver ballet flats. I also found this on the shoebuy page click me!
And, maybe these aren't your style but, I thought they were cute regardless

I'm 5'10', and FH SAYS he's 5'7', but honestly it's probably more like 5' 5 3/4'. So I'm wearing very small kitten heels for the ceremony and any outdoor pics, only like an inch and 3/4' tops. Then I'm switching to isotoner slippers once we get to the RH for majority of the pics. No matter what I do, I'm going to be taller than him, so it's just a matter of how much. I'm switching back to my heels though if it becomes a safety issue with the marble floors.

I'm 5'10' and FH is 6'3' lol. I'm wearing 3' heels.. but only for comfort.

if he was shorter i would be wearing ballet flats! my cousin is 5'11 and his wife is the same height as well. she wore flats and looked fabulous. since the gown touches the floor, it really doesn't matter whether or not you wear flats or heels.

I am 5'10'' maybe 5'11'' and I am going to wearr flats--- prob ballet flats. FH is a couple inches taller than me, but the sample dress was perfect with flats and I did not want have to order and pay for extra length...

im 5'9 and im wearing 3.5 heel...fh is 6'4 though but if he was shorter I would wear a kitten heel or no heel

I am 5 ft 8 and I'm wearing heals.. but then again FH is 6 ft 5 so I am totally covered in that area. Personally if it were me, I would wear either flats or a very very small heal. Usually I wouldn't mind, but I'm thinking about all the pics and I wouldn't want to look taller in the pics and videos. IMO.
