From what I understand, there was supposed to be a big meeting on Monday regarding the proposed Tanger Mall in Deer Park.
Does anyone know what happened?? Did they have the meeting?? Did they postpone it because of weather??
If they had the meeting, are they going ahead with plans to build??
This story was making news before Monday, and I'm surprised there hasn't been any news since this 'scheduled' Monday meeting.

I heard this a while ago. I believe Mondays meeting was the last of three. Im not sure if they still had it or not. But the people of D.P. are not thrilled with the idea.

I live in a condo complex right near there and was invited to attend the meeting, but I couldn't go. I am curious too....I'll let you know as soon as I hear something.

Yeah, I just thought it was strange how it was making news before Monday .. Monday was supposed to be the 'big' meeting .. and nothing since.
I hate when news sources drop a story like that.
I think there is a lot of mixed feelings regarding all the development that is planned in that area .. not just Tanger, but that whole proposed development of the Pilgrim site as well.

The Tanger Mall is going to be near the corner of Grand Blvd. & Commack Road .. I guess somewhere behind the Home Depot & Kohls from my understanding.
