Has anyone used a lotion or gel that they would recommend? I'd be willing to try it out now to see if I like it. I'm not a big fan of tanning/looking too fake, but I think I'd like nice even color all over my body.
I was thinking of using Jergens lotion.
Any suggestions/advice?
TIA!

I use the lotions!
I think that the jergens has a funny smell.
I like the l'oreal brand. it's called sublime glow or somethign like that.
my two biggest tips: get the one that's meant for your skin tone to avoid getting orange. The one for fair skin will eventually get you as dark as the one for light skin, but it's a slightly different color t accoungt for your own under tones.
and exfoliate daily in the shower to avoid spotty/blotcheness. a little color will come off on your washcloth, but that keeps it all even on your skin!
also be stop like two days before the wedding, because if there is **too** much color on you and you sweat, it can rub off on your dress (from what I understand this happens with spray tans too)
ok three tips.lol

Don't be afraid of the spray tan!! Go now to Beach Bum and get a trial spray. It's $35 for first time tanners!

Re: Tanning- but not spray?!
The Jergen's foamy one (It comes out like mousse) worked pretty well but u need to start using it daily for 2 weeks before u get the color u want (I found) but spray tanning is soo great! (by a person, I get freaked out with the machine lol)
