Tanning concerns

Tanning concerns

Hi. I'm thinking about going to a tanning salon because I don't want to look pale on my wedding day in two weeks. I'm really worried about burning and don't feel comfortable laying out in the sun for this reason. Has anyone ever burned in a tanning bed? I would love some feedback on what people's experiences have been like.

Thanks

I have tanned lots of times and gotten burned...be careful if this is your first time going and your really pale..when you go in, don't go the full time the salon allows..do it gradually...start out with like 5 minutes then up it to like 8 minutes and sooo on..cuz even though you feel your not getting color you will see the results...

exactly. you can definitely get burned. start with a very low amount of time and work yourself up. a salon with a good staff will tell you this.

Try Brazillian Bronze they are a vendor on this site. They scrub you down and spray tan you. Lots of people do it and like it. Give that a try and this way you can go as light or as dark as you want.

if you're really pale the spray tans can look TOO airbrushy/orange. You have two weeks....go for 6mins(u wont REALLY see a difference but it definetly preps you) than 8minutes (two days) then to 10 depending if your base developes, and keep building. do NOT go the day before the wedding!!!! Also the best stuff EVER is Toma Tan...it's a pain in the a** to put on, but it's the greatest self tanning kit ever.
