Tanning question...

I'm not an avid tanning salon patron so I have no idea how this goes...

I don't want to look pasty for the wedding. I want to look sunkissed! So how far in advance do I need to start the tanning process? How many visits do you need?

Being a TAN SALON freak....with this wedding coming up I stayed away..Im pretty dark since I have good olive skin and well I think I have done enough sun damage.
I actually recently used a Nutragena(sp?) aerosol spray tan for my legs and I have to admit how good it looked.
I did go a little overboard so I saw a tad orange but noone else noticed. I also did my chest and arms the day after and that looked great too.
Sunless tanning worked for me.
It also didnt come off on my clothes at all!.

If u do decide...I would try 2x/wk 1st and dont go in too long...then one or two more visits should do it.
Also make sure u do it before wedding just in case of possible burn.

Ok, you should start in the next couple of weeks. This is what you should do: Go day 1 and day 2 then skip day 3 and go day 4 to create a nice base. Then go a couple of times a week (depending on the color you are going for). If you have fair skin, start out (day 1 and 2) in a good bed but at the least amount of minutes and gradually increase from there. If you have more than fair to medium skin then do the time up from there and gradually increse. You don't want to overdue it your first day because YOU WILL BURN. I would suggest buying a lotion. Something that ALSO has a bronzer in it, so you dont get orangey. If you like tingle thats fine but it doesn't actually enhance your tan.

I'm laughing beacuse I just went to the Tanning Salon this morning and I asked them the same question(I'm getting married the day after you)....What we decide was next week I'm going to start and only go 2X's a week..this will give me a nice tan with out looking over done. Good Luck!!

I just tried spray tanning last week and LOVED it!!

After you get over the fact that some chick is airbrushing every square inch of you, the end result is amazing! Totally safe, and it looked natural. I've been getting compliments all week!

I went to About Face in East Islip.

I'm going to see how much natural sun I get between Memorial Day and our wedding , but I'm prob going back the week of the wedding so I'm even.
