Re: Tanning salon tan or fake tan...please vote
I'll be hitting the tanning salon for the stand up booth. I'm getting married someplace warm, prob. Feb break '07 (FH is a teacher) - and I'm usually pasty white.

I am a very fair gal...however I would like to have a nice glow on my wedding day. I am considering doing the tanning salon thing but am scared I will be blochy or burned...besides to get me tan I will have to go every two days for like 2 months...expensive! The other option is to do the 'healthy' thing and get a spray on tan at a salon. The thing is, I have never had this done and don't want to look like an orange carrot in my wedding gown. What would you do? Please share your experiences.

I went tanning for 2 or 3 mons before the wedding and I loved the tan I got from the stand up both.
I am pretty fair and have been going tanning leading up to my wedding-- not only do I want a healthy glow.. but I need to prep my skin for that Jamaican sun!
I wouldn't do either - go to a spa and get the tan done for you. A person actually applies the 'fake tan' to you and you get to choose the color and shade. It's so natural looking and not harmful to your skin. I'm using Glow Skin Spa but any high end spa will have this offered.
