Tanning Salons

I live in Bayside and am thinking about going to a tanning salon so my skin is even for the wedding. What would you recommend? How can you avoid getting burned? My FH is thinking about going to and we're both fair. TIA

I considered airbrush tanning, but wanted to get a little color for the honeymoon anyway, so I just started going to Hollywood tans. I am very fair and burn very easily.... I bought a package (5 sessions for $48) and bought lotion with hemp... i burned in some areas so far, but am starting to look tan mostly! I go in only for 5 minutes at a time.
