TANNING SALONS in Mineola Area

Hi girls!

My wedding is a month away and I want to start going tanning to give myself a little color -- I'm wearing a strapless dress.

The most convenient time for me to go would be on my lunch hour. I work in Mineola -- can anyone recommend someplace in the Mineola, Carle Place, Garden City, Westbury, New Hyde Park area?

Hey- I actually go to the one next to Pedestals- I completely forget the name, but they are soooo nice! You should do the orbit- it's only $99.00 for an unlimited month and you get a perfect tan!! DO NOT pay a huge amount for the Sunvitale- it makes you stay in longer, but the Orbit is the best!!

Im pretty sure theres an Ultra Tan on Old Country Road right by the mall- I think they are good.

There's a Hollywood Tans on Old Country Road in the Country Glen Shopping Center--next to Starbucks and Bagel Boss. I went there once, it was really good. I just never found time to go back!

I actually ended up going to the one next to Pedestals at lunch yesterday. It is very nice and the girls are nice. I got the $99 package for the stand-up -- which was good -- but i stayed in too long for the first session, so parts of me are a bit pink. I'm sure it will be fine though. I have a month to even it all out.

Do you know anything about their bronzer unit? They said its 25 minutes and that the recommend it for the last session (or last 2 sessions) because it just evenly tones the base color you get from the stand-up machine.

Hi- my friend uses the face bronzer and she gets pretty dark. Her skin is light olive (if that makes sense). You got a good package- enjoy!! You'll look great for your day! Your reception location is sooo pretty!!

Thanks for the advice! I don't want to be too dark -- I just want to have a little color. I have very light olive skin.
