i mean seriously, how long does it take to put a diamond in a setting?!!!

'oh great, come in today, i'll have your ring ready by next week'

*** !??? i got over waiting THIS long for my ring (all my fault) but now i have to wait even longer?!! i feel like crying. i want it NOW.

hopefully the jewler is just going to surprise me and have it done while we wait?

oh please lorddd, i just want my ring on my finger already

aww! i felt the same way when i was waiting for mine. don't worry though, once it's on your finger...it's worth the wait! is this the end of the week's wait or just the beginning?

He wants you to leave your diamond with him for a week? I'd be very careful about that. Many reputable jewelers will not permit you to let your diamond out of your sight while they are working on your ring.

I would not leave the diamond there - you should watch them set the diamond! JMO

aww noo hes a family friend. we bought the diamond and never took it home. we wanted him to hold onto it until we found a setting. cuz my dumbass will prob mistake it with a diamond that fell off a shirt of mine or something and throw it out lol

he had settings, but not what i wanted. and he works with a comany out of the country that makes the settings, and i was NOT about to wait another 5 weeks. so i bought a setting elsewhere.

its totally safe with him. besides, its GIA certified, so ill have all the paperwork.

fh bought my diamond and setting seperately....he brought the diamond and the put it in the setting that day while he waited....i dont see why you have to wait a week?!

Never leave your diamond with any jeweler!! ... Have them do it while you are there, my jeweler wont even take them if he cant finish them that day...
