Tarale...

Tarale...

So, I emailed Tarale to see if I could book a trial with her, and I won't be able to. It looks like she won't be doing many weddings in '06.

Me too...she did some really beautiful work for the 04 and 05 girls on LIW. I have no idea who to try now, I was banking on trying Taral first.

Maybe you want to email her again. I guess it's worth a try.

Maybe I am naive about this, but how hard can it really be to do make-up. I always thought that bridal make-up wasn't supposed to be over the top - rather natural looking. I truly do not see the practicality of spending a lot of money for this. JMO.

Tarale is a hairstylist. I see your point, but I know how I am and would be freaking out all day if I didn't love my hair and make-up. Tara has been so highly recommended on these boards, I'd pay for a professional of her caliber.

tarale is a great hairstylist. but she is not the end all of hair styling. why not talk to your regular hairdresser? i am probably using the girl who always cuts/colors my hair. i mean, it does kind of stink that she won't be available, but there are other options out there.

Oops sorry. I misread the post but I still feel that way about make-up.

I don't know how to apply makeup that well at all (I usually just use mascara and black eyeliner) and on my wedding day -- I want to look beautiful. Oksana did a phenomonal job and it's totally worth it to look and feel wonderful on the most important day of your life -- for me anyways.

As far as Tarale -- I'm upset about that -- I wanted to have a trial with her. I'll e-mail her anyway and see what she says.

I'm pretty good with my make-up, but would be so nervous to do it myself on my wedding day.
Let us know what she says! She did mention I can try her in late '05, b/c the acting thing may not pan out....

No, what I meant to say that it is fine to have someone else apply your make up or do your hair if you can't do it yourself. I just don't see going over the top to pay for it. JMO for myself.
