My Bandleader said they were planning to sing the Tarantella after our first dance.
Do you think that's premature? Don't people need a few drinks in them to want to get up a 'Tarantel'?
I thought that was an after dinner type song.
What do you think?!?!

Re: Tarantella Brides
I wanted to do it at my wedding, but it actually never got played. Either way, I certainly wouldn't have wanted it to be the first song after the first dance. I'd wait until the night gets going a little more. But then again, maybe that's his way of getting people out on the dance floor.

i wouldn't do this right after the first song. even if its before dinner - let people get on the dance floor and get worked up before its played

That's what I'm saying... I was surprised he said they wanted to do it so early in the evening. Didn't know what to think. I'm down to the final countdown and I can't comprehend sometimes...

I agree that it's too early. But the tarantella might be a good song to get the party started (when the band or DJ is transitioning from dinner music to dancing).
