Tassels for programs?

Is this cheezy using tassels to hold in the pages of the program? I saw a great deal in oriental trading. Im torn between punching holes and tying ribbons or attaching tassels. TIA

Completely agree.
I think both tassels or ribbons will be fine..but tassels are a bit more regal
