When should I schedule my CP sample and menu tasting for? Is a month prior to the weddng to close to the wedding?

Re: Tasting & Flower Timeline ?
I'm an OOT bride (well, most of the year) and we had our tasting on 5/11. A little early, but FH really wanted to be there so we didn't have a lot of flexibility with respect to dates.
I have a follow-up florist appt on 6/14, and I'm not sure what is going to happen with our sample centerpieces. If I can squeeze something in the end of June I'll try, otherwise I'll probably just have my mom go and take pictures for me. (My only other option is flying out just for this, or waiting until the week before the wedding)
Just call up both places, explain your situation and see what they suggest?

a month ahead would stress me out.. what if they need to change things? And wouldn't it be easier to come up to adjust things over a longer period of time vs short? HTh

I'm worried about the Cp's also. Just in case I don't like it.
I'm on the west coast! The airfare just for a weekend is going to cost me $500.00

Re: Tasting & Flower Timeline ?
My RH told me they usually have tastings about 2 months before. I think my florist does samples 2-3 months before.
