so my best friend since second grade is going to be one of my BM's but she doesn't know it yet. trouble is i'm worried about her tattoos on her chest. i'm not sure if she'll offer to cover them up or make a big stink about it if i ask her. i plan on having strapless gowns and i just think that they would really stick out. what do you guys think? am i out of line to ask her to cover them up? should i bring it up as i'm asking her to be my BM or wait until after?
p.s. her tattoos are two swallows (birds) facing eachother on each side of her chest.

i think its tacky to ask her to cover them up.....this topic has come up quite a bit on the boards and people have lots of different opinions on it.....i think she can still look classy and elegant with her tattoos showing - its 2008.....i wouldnt want to chance hurting my friends feelings so i would suck it up and leave it be.....you never know she may offer to cover them up herself - since she is a friend she must know how conservative you are.....unless you think she wont be offended at all i wouldnt ask.....if it was me it would hurt my feelings
