The dress I picked out is backless, as most dresses are nowadays.
Any tips on how to cover up a huge tattoo? I personally have no problems with it, but it might be a little much for the In-laws.

Re: Tattoo Coverage?
I've actually seen kits sold for this. I don't have any tattoos, so I haven't had experience with and don't know how well they work.

Re: Tattoo Coverage?
My makeup artist said that she is able to cover it with airbrush foundation. And someone told me about a product called Cover FX thats supposed to work well.

Re: Tattoo Coverage?
I cover mine on ym back with DIOR airbush foundation because matches my skin tone but it is a wee bit pricey.

Re: Tattoo Coverage?
i would find a make up artist that does airbrush foundation. mine was Jacquline Nicole--she's a vendor on here. she actually has a pic on her website of a before and after, tattoo cover up.
i know they sell the kits to cover up tats, but i heard that they fade quick.

Re: Tattoo Coverage?
Try the Dermablend cosmetic line. They have makeup to cover up tattoos.

Re: Tattoo Coverage?
I have a ton of tattoos (most of which I now regret and am lasering them off!)
I use Dermablend all the time and its awesome...Just make sure that you let it set and powder it enough (2 steps, coverup and powder) otherwise it can run, but it only happened to me once and it was my own fault...but dead of summer and I have no problems!
They sell it in Ulta! Good luck!

Re: Tattoo Coverage?
I order from alcone a lot they have a great variety of products they carry including theatrical...
That is the web address for one of the tattoo cover make ups that I have used in the past, It works but if its a larget tat then its going to be very time consuming to cover it this way.

Re: Tattoo Coverage?
during my make up trial, i asked my makeup artist to see if she had anything that would cover it up. she did try something which seemed to work (sorry i didnt write down what she used). we also discussed alcone but she said its expensive and so you need to make sure you can match your skin tone on the first few tries. I am planning to by dermblend and have her apply it on me. the back up plan would be the makeup she used during my trial.

Re: Tattoo Coverage?
Try Dermablend. I believe it was originally created just for that. It's supposed to cover up and last a long time.
They sell it at Ulta.

Re: Tattoo Coverage?
I've heard dermablend works well, just get a few shades and mix your own to match your skin tone.

Re: Tattoo Coverage?
The girl that did my make up was able to cover mine up that is on my right shoulder. I also wore a strapless dress, and I did not want my tattoo showing. You could still see it a little bit, but whatever, once the day of your wedding comes, that is the least of your worries.
