Tattoo Poll

So who has a tattoo and did you get it before or after you met your FI?

For me - before. No way it would have been 'allowed' after.....but I did show it off on the 1st date...

I never had one (can't think of anything I'd want on my body for the rest of my life) & FH has one on his calf (not crazy about it)

I got mine before FH. He can do without them because we are Jewish and I am not supposed to have them. But good Jews are not supposed to have sex before marriage either and um well um NEVER MIND.

I have 2 and I got them while I was with FH, but he didn't know I got them, until after the deed was done (I got them both at 2 seperate times). I was younger then. My FH and I have been together since High School, so now looking back on it, I probably know why I didn't tell him before I got them done.

We both have a tattoo, and we had them done in each others presence (not at the time time, though.) We were 18 when I got mine, and he got his on his 20th birthday.

I want another, and I know what it's going to look like, I just don't know where to put it!!!

I got mine after I met DH - although we were on a break at the time. When he saw it, he didn't believe it was real!

I want another one, but I don't know of what yet.

Never had one. DH has three... He is thinking of adding a fourth and possibly fifth. I'm still debating on a first.

I have 6 tattoos and I want one more. FI has none which is too bad, I'm still working on him though. I've always found (really good) tattoos on men incredibly sexy!!! But I mean really good tattoos nothing 'off the wall' from the tattoo parlor, no tazmanian devils, or other such atrocities those are just hideous. I like original work and I'm a big fan of black and gray, and things like Celtic crosses. I'd prefer a guy with no tattoos than a guy with bad and unoriginal ones. JMHO

I have one- I don't love it- when the technology gets really good to remove it- it's gone

he doesn't have any- but wants one like the rock has

I missed the boat on this one. Which is good because I would now be the 'proud' owner of a blue diamond on my ankle. DH wants to get my name on his forearm...or a design intertwining both of our names...hmm, no thanks guy. No tattoos for you!
