I was wondering if I could see more pictures of your sleeve, I am looking into getting one and I want to see your sleeve because it is the best one I have ever seen. Thank you Karen [email protected]
i see this is your first post so you probably didnt notice but the thread you responded to is from 2007. chances are slim that the girl with the sleeve will read this and respond. just a heads up if you dont hear from her

Re: Tattooed Brides
I have 1 tattoo now which is a tribal band going around my arm which will defiantly be visible and 1 on my back that won’t be. I plan on get 2 more before the wedding in areas that will show. I love my tattoos and will not try to hide them although many people have asked me to

thank you so much!!! Client services actually forwarded this to me cause I'm on LIF now. do you know what you wanna do with your life? If you can cover it, then go for it but make sure you sit on the idea for a long time (i hate lecturing but i've seen so many people either get terrible tattoos or tattoos they regret) do you know what style of tattoo you want? i could steer you into the direction of some pretty sick tattoo artists! My artist/friend moved down to atlanta unfortunately (and my peter pan sleeve isn't finished :( ) but i know of a couple of really good artists. i gotta try and find more pics of my sleeves for you. thank you again

Most of mine were covered by the dress. The one that wasn't I had covered with makeup but you could still see something was being covered, just not what.

Re: Tattooed Brides
No I have thought about it for a while and I know what I want to do. I want to be a high school teacher so it wont be a problem since I can get a job anywhere no matter what. And I have thought about this sleeve for a year in a half now and once I have it draw I will have it up on a wall to look at for about another year. I try to make sure that what ever tattoos I think of getting are ones that I will never regret. I know how that goes. So I am not going to be stupid about it, but I do love your nightmare before christmas sleeve. I am a huge Tim Burton fan. It's fine that you lecture I understand, because I have a few friends that already regret theirs.

i have a short dress, so my feet and leg tattoos will be seen. nor to mention i'll have 3/4 sleeves and will most likely have my tattoo for my gram by then. some people dont like them, but its the type of thing that its me, so people will just have to deal.

Re: Tattooed Brides
My FH is a tattoo artist and i have tattoo's EVERYWHERE including a sleeve on my left arm, the start of my right arm sleeve, and so on....I love being who i am and i cant wait to show them on my wedding day. I do get judged by people a lot, but i dont care because i love being who i am. I know a lot of people who wanted to wait to start things like that until after their wedding...their choice. Im just glad i am comfortable being who i am and i want me to show on my wedding day...I posted some pics of us to show you..Our wedding is in May so i should have more done on my arm by then..
Here are a couple of mine! Soooo many people asked me 'what are you gonna do when you get married?' about my tattoos, like I was expected to wear a turtleneck wedding gown. I rocked them full on!! Here a couple from my day-after pics as well!! Good luck to all the future tattooed brides!! Wear your ink with pride!!

Re: Tattooed Brides
I covered the one that was visible with makeup but I kind of wish I hadn't because you could see that something was covered. I recently got a larger cover up that I couldn't have covered but I waited until after the wedding.
EDA: to share some nice photos of my friend Libby's wedding
I have one on my right shoulder blade. FMIL asked if I was planning to cover it up but I am definitely NOT! I love my tattoo! The other one on my lower back will be covered though. I'm thinking of getting a small blue heart tattooed on my foot as my 'something blue'. When I say small, I mean TINY, like this size.

I thought about the same thing! Like a tiny blue heart on my foot. DH jokes all the time about when I'm going to tattoo his name but this would have been just for him! I kind of wish I had done it honestly.

I was dithering back and forth about it, but I think you might've changed my mind! I know I'll regret it if I don't. And what an awesome reminder of your wedding day! I would love to get FH's name tattooed on my ankle or the wedding date or something but that's just asking for a divorce! I figured at least I could make up some other story about the heart if god forbid we ever did break up. But now I just started looking up heart tattoos (out of curiousity even though I know I want a small, plain one) and I found some awesome ones. Maybe I'm just hungry for another tattoo- they are so addictive!

be warned, foot tattoos arent the easiest. i've had 10+ hours on my feet in two sittings, and although i love them, idk if everyone could sit through it.
