Tax question

Edited to ask simply...do all vendors not charge tax if you use cash?

From what I know, you were quoted correctly. Their prices went up recently, so Im assuming you are reading old posts that are quoted at $3699. That same package deal has been raised to $4499. Hope this helps!!

That stinks! Well, do you think that they can take off the tax at least since all our payments will be in checks, not charge?? Even if my contract already has tax on it?

I really dont know. I am also paying by check only and they never mentioned anything to me. That is something you would have to discuss with them. But, there's no harm in asking!

I paid in cash and they took the tax off with no problem. I would definitely ask.

I booked them in 2003 so the prices were a lot lower. I paid $3K for the same thing, plus some extras, like the negatives. They are gaining popularity rapidly so anyone thinking about using them should book NOW it seems like their prices keep increasing and increasing!

They told me when i booked in august that their prices were going up right before the september wedding showcase they went to. They should, like most businesses, have a yearly increase. It's still a great deal

Thats the quote I got also. They gave me a discount for paying cash, about 7%.

Yes the prices have gone up in the past year - I had booked them around this time last year and I think my package was around $3500. But - there was also no casual day shoot - so you are getting a photographer on a whole separate day!
