Who will be using their tax refund toward the wedding?
We were going to, but decided, we had enough funds allocated to the wedding and didn't want this thing to consume our lives! LOL So we're just going to invest some and put some in our 1 year anniversary savings account. We want to go somewhere really special. Maybe Saint Tropez and possibly conceive there! HAHHAHAHA TMI??

I think we are using the tax refund for two things, the wedding first and foremost, and we are going to remodel our master bedroom. We bought a house two years ago and we remodeled the first floor (living room, dining room, kitchen, half bath and den) so the next big project is the master bedroom! We are tearing down a wall so this one small bedroom will become our walk in closet and making the master bathroom bigger. We can't wait, thats probably where will be doing our conceiving! hahaha

I'm definitely using my tax returns towards the wedding. I think it will be a huge boost in our savings.

We will be using our tax return toward the wedding fund we kind of have to since we are paying for it ourselves. Every bit counts. Whatever doesn't get used for the wedding fund gets used for the house fund.

I love the house fund! IS it bad that FH and I haven't started looking for a house? We kinda like our cozy 2-bedroom apartment. Well a loft really, but it's us! Maybe we should look for a more family home?

We're each putting half towards our CC bill and the other half we're splitting up towards our savings and personal accounts. My personal amount will go towards all the little extras!

We haven't started looking yet, but we do not want to rent too long after the wedding. Right now we do not live together and trying to save as much as possible.

We have two refunds before the big day so this year it will be going towards a vacation, next year, towards the wedding :)

we also have 2 refunds before the wedding. This year 1/2 is going to the wedding, 1/4 is going to our student loans and the other 1/4 is going to a condo fund! :)
hopefully i get a huge refund this year! first year my parents can't claim me so i have no idea what it will be!!!

Ours will probably go toward paying off credit card debts, this way we save all that crazy interest we would have had to pay, and be able to put that much more extra aside every month towrd the wedding =)

We are planning to use about 1/3 of our refund towards to the wedding, the rest will be divided up between CC, kids college fund, and paying bills in advance.

After reading this topic I had 'the talk' with FH.....we decided to both put our refunds in our joint account too for vendor fees. We may not like it now but when those payments are due I'm sure we will appreciate it!
