I was going to go to H & R block but someone told me to go to a firm. That they could get me more money back.

I am very embarassed to say this...but up until last year dad always claimed me since he paid for tuition and insurance because I was still of the age and in college...So he did them for me.

This is my first year on my own and as I said..embarassed because I really don't even know what to do or look for......help

Try turbotax.com. It's only $20 to do it all online. They find a ton of deductions and it's so cheap! I can't wait to get my return back, I'm getting a ton and it's all going towards the wedding.

fh does then at home.. he's an accountant.. if you want he could do it for you for cheep...you come to him or he could come to you..

he even has e-file/direct deposit...

I go where my parents go. Actually that's a lie. They take all my stuff for me. All I have to do is sign the form and mail it out. Hoping for a huge return this year!!!

OMG! I was a little embaressed to say this - but Im not the only one now - ME TOO!!

But - Im thinking abt Turbo Tax instead - maybe they will find alot of reductions and I will be rich!!!

My dad does them for me using Turbo Tax. It's really easy, I could probably do it myself. But Dad's retired and actually enjoys it.

DH's job referred him to our accountant. She got us a HUGE return last year. She even went over his last few years of taxes and got him money from those too!
