I was going to go to H & R block but someone told me to go to a firm. That they could get me more money back.

I am very embarassed to say this...but up until last year dad always claimed me since he paid for tuition and insurance because I was still of the age and in college...So he did them for me.

This is my first year on my own and as I said..embarassed because I really don't even know what to do or look for......help

Try turbotax.com. It's only $20 to do it all online. They find a ton of deductions and it's so cheap! I can't wait to get my return back, I'm getting a ton and it's all going towards the wedding.

I use turbotax too

I do my own since i use to be an accountant.

From my experience with reviewing prior tax returns prepared by H&R Block...I've found they miss deductions and they are way over priced. Granted they are easy but I'm not sure if the quailty is the best.
