Any thoughts? I made out pretty well with my refund ( thankfully ) Well, in 2003 I earned $11,000 and paid $10,000 in tuition! So, I am getting a full refund. But...when

i wouldn't count on it for at least 6 weeks

Did you file electronically? That would cut down the time to 2-3 weeks especailly if you elected direct deposit. I filed my taxes in Mid February and just got them back last week took about 6 1/2 weeks Good Luck!

LOL! I read your post & decided to check my online banking cause I had mine go direct deposit and lo & behold, my fed refund just posted!!

I e-filed last Saturday and my accountant said the check would be mailed out on 4/23.

unfortunately i do this for a living! there are no hard and fast rules about when you get them back but from experience you get it quicker if e-file or direct deposit. fed and state vary as well.

FYI: if you go to IRS and type in all your info(you need SS#, name, and amount you think you are getting back)...they give you the date that your check will be mailed out. Mine was right on the money and I got my check really fast.

Go down to the bottom of the pahe and it says 'where's my refund?'

YAY.
I know what that feels like.
We did pretty good too. Almost 10k as well so thats going towards the wedding costs :) with some to spare.

I got my refund within days so it should not take that long.
When u use the site you need the exact amount. Or you can call them.
