TC meeting tonight!

I am so excited!! We are going to Thatched Cottage tonight for a details, menu, cake & linen selection meeting! We were supposed to go last night, but I postponed the meeting because I believed the weather hype... I just hope tonight is okay! haha

Oooh I just did that last night too!!

LOL I almost believed the hype too but my appt was for before the snow so I went anyway.
It was a fun meeting, I was so glad to have that done and they provided me with the table setup, etc, so now I feel relieved!

Haha yes! exactly! I actually wound up rescheduling it on Tuesday because I had heard the radio all day at work... durrr!

I'm very excited to get all of those little details confirmed & out of the way! It'll be fun to talk reception tonight!

Will you be visiting on your one year? We did and it was really nice! We had booked in October, so we were able to see what it would look like in May. They gave us champagne & a tour! Definitely do it, if you can!

Yes! I actually booked so far out from my date that Maureen invited me out for my 2-year

I couldn't make that one, but I'm definitely going to visit this year. They're very free with the champagne haha...I like it! Would you mind letting me know how tonight goes/what kinds of details you go over? Thanks!

The details like family & wedding party, approx. guest count. We went over/picked our menu, cake choice and linen.

Maureen also gave us homework. A contact list for all of our vendors, Reception Protocol Sheet (Every one in your bridal party who will be making an entrance into your reception, first dance song, if you will be doing specialty dances, garter & bo-k toss, etc.) as well 3 seating charts that Maureen set up according to the size of our party (2 for mistakes & 1 final) which we bring back to our final meeting.

We were also given a date for final head count & when to drop off our personal reception items.

As I'm sure you know Maureen is VERY thorough. I had a whole list of questions and by the time she was done, there were only like 3 that I needed to actually ask haha
