Tea candles

I am making little bird's nests that clear glass flower pot shaped tea candle votives will sit in.
I am putting two on each table. Where else are tea candles usually put during receptions?

I was thinking around the cake...?

Would I put them around the guestbook tree or would that be a bad idea? as that might be too much commotion as is (trying to stamp fingers and sign, etc.)

What about by the escort cards?


Also, I plan to do a memory candle... where exactly would/should that be placed?

I like around the cards & cake, i agree too much commotion around the guestbook. The memory candle I am having trouble with as well, not really sure where they are supposed to be placed. Maybe by the guest book ? so everyone can take notice of it .?

Placing the memory candle by the guest book is a nice idea. I don't know where else you would put it and it's kind of a nice sentiment - like your deceased loved ones are a guest at the wedding in spirit.
