Tea-Length Bridesmaids Dresses
Since many of you ladies are much further along in the process than I am, I figured I'd ask...Does anyone know any vendors that carry tea length dresses? I saw a few by B2, Jessica McClintock etc. but there doesn't seem to be very many.

Re: Tea-Length Bridesmaids Dresses
My best friend whose wedding I am in wants to have us bridesmaids wear tea-length bridesmaid dress. We did find some tea-lengths at RK bridal but alot of dresses you can have cut down to tea-length. In fact the dress that we are getting is down to the floor (A-Line) and we are having the bridal place cut it to tea-lenght. I love tea-length and think it is a great dress to have for a summer or spring wedding.

Re: Tea-Length Bridesmaids Dresses
Dessy carries a few, so does Watters & Watters/WToo.I bet you'll find some if you just flip through the racks at the bridal shops.
Here's a picture of the one I am using for my girls, Dessy # 1986

Re: Tea-Length Bridesmaids Dresses
Thanks so much! That's a great idea. I fell in love with a few dresses and I was wondering if they could be cut. We're getting married on a Yacht so an 'easy breezy' feel is what I'm going for. Plus, I feel horribly about having the girls wear dresses they may never wear again. I think tea-lengths lend themselves better to be used again. Thanks for your suggestion!

Boogiedownbride- I love that dress, that length and style is exactly what I'm looking for. What website did you say has tea length dresses?

Re: Tea-Length Bridesmaids Dresses
It's a really cool website too! You can view the dresses in all the colors it's available in. The colors are not very accurate, though, but it's still fun!I LOVE that dress too! It was exactly what I was looking for, and since I have 2 pregnant bridesmaids, the empire waist will (hopefully!) be flattering for them!

Re: Tea-Length Bridesmaids Dresses
there are a TON of tea-length bridesmaid dresses out now. Jim Hjelm actually has a collection called 'Just Teas' with about 20 dresses. Some other companies with cute tea length dresses I have seen recently: After Six, Dessy, Watters & Watters. Check out their websites...www.watters.com
www.aftersix.com (also has a link to Dessy)

I spoke to someone at Here Comes the Bridesmaid and she told me that most of these dresses are just coming into the stores now since they are the new lines. She said that all of the stores should have all of these dresses by the middle of January.
