Tea-length dress to Black Tie Optional?
Hi ladies, we're invited to a Sat. night Black Tie Optional wedding in June. Is it appropriate to wear a tea-length dressy black dress? I'm not immediate family, 2nd cousin of the bride's mom. Thoughts?

I personally wouldn't.
Tea Length usually is not Black Tie attire.

ETA... I just re-read and saw it said BLACK TIE OPTIONAL... Then I think its totally Ok!

yes. a friend of mine wore a black tea length cocktail dress to a sept black tie wedding and it was fine!
