Tea Party at Chateau Briand Last Night
Hi Girls! So my twin sister is getting married at chateau briand in June 09 (she is not on the boards yet!) and we did her Complimentary Tea Party at chateau briand with Perfect Wedding Planners.
They basically have you in there photo room which is beautiful and huge and give you tea, tea sandwiches and some other thing. Then the guy from Perfect Wedding Planners I think his name was James goes through the wedding checklist.
At first it was fun but he went through month by month what you should be doing and what you shouldnt be doing. It took almost 2 hours!
So here are a couple of things he said you shouldnt be doing:
-Match your brides maids dress color to everything else. He said its ok to have similiar colors but not the exact match.
-Not to go crazy and match your colors to the invitation because who remembers the invitation.
-Have the groomsmen tie match the bridesmaid and the grooms vest and tie to match the brides dress.
-do not use vendors who that job is not there first job. EXAMPLE if your photographer is mainly a pet show photographer and not a wedding photographer then do not hire him. (example the guy gave last night.
Ok well thats all I can remember I kind of zoned out. But my sister did win $250 off a rehersal dinner at Fox Hollow so that was nice.
