Re: Teacher Brides

Thanks so much!! It has been my dream to have my 'babies' in my wedding... My wedding keeps growing everyday because I keep inviting another family. Luckily FH is so amazing about it!

I teach JHS 7th grade and some of my students asked me when and where so they could come to the church. I mentioned it to FH last year (about inviting students to the church) and he doesn't think it's a good idea. I'm not sure if I'm inviting students yet.

I'm not a teacher but a mother of a 7th grader and I know she has some favorite teachers that she really has connected with and she would want to go to the church. IMO if only some students have asked to go to the church they must really like and respect you as a teacher and want to be part of your day. I have some teacher friends that have invited (to the church only) the students that wanted to go.

I would like to invite my students, but the reality is I wouldn't be abler to just invite some students, I would have to invite all 145 of my students. Even though I'm sure not all 145 would go to the church..lol (could you imagine! haha) I would be a little afraid that many students would go anyway even the ones from last year AND the year before (and I adore ALL my students) SO...that's why I'm still thinking it..

You must be a great teacher cause I know if most of my daughters teachers were to be getting married her and friends would be like yeah whatever She would only care about the cool teachers!!! Good luck in making your choice and remember you MUST do what is best for you and your day!!
