Re: Teacher Question-Spec Ed MS teachers
I teach 7th grade special ed. English. Did you talk to the teacher to see what topic they are up to? Just make sure whatever you do that you use a varied teaching tecnique. Meaning visuals, auditory, and even some hands on activities. These students have a hard time focusing so you have to make it interesting. Also make sure you have a closing. Don't just end the lesson, have a set activity to assess if the students understood what was taught. Use a lot of praise and watch the clock. You don't want to run out of time or end with too much left. By the way, what school is this for if you dont mind me asking? You can fm me if you don't want to post it on here. Good Luck.

Re: Teacher Question-Spec Ed MS teachers
Try and find out what they have covered- A good way to incorporate technology would be to use a Podcast- If you have access to a computer- there are tons online and It would be a good way to accomodate different learners. HTH
Good Luck!

Re: Teacher Question-Spec Ed MS teachers
I had an observation today for 5th grade self contained. I did a lesson on metaphors-but that might be too easy for seventh graders! Good luck, I'm so glad mine is over!
