Very scary! Teachers and students rate the performance and personalities of teachers. You can look up a school and then the teachers name to see what students think of them.

I just looked it up too. I'm not there but 13 of my colleagues were there. It seems that for the most part, the students were on target, but they did grade my colleagues harshly on the amount of work they gave out (high score if they didn't give out a lot of hard work, low score if the work was too hard or too much). I can't wait to see these kids in college - they're going to die!

Honestly, I don't think these posts have a lot of validity - did you see the spelling and grammar on half of them???

It is sad because I looked up my old high school and saw that a lot of the really great teachers got the bad grades. If a teacher gives 'a lot' of work then they are considered bad teachers by the students. Some teachers were rated high and the students commented that they were so hot! If a teacher is good looking that doesn't mean they are a good teacher. Now that I am older I can apprecieate who the good teachers were. These kids have no clue.

I am on there and proud of it! the kids use it as a way to take out agression mostly...i had a student say how horribly mean i was at the beginning of the year because i gave thema quiz the first week (10 spelling words...oh my! ) and then later in the year, that same student took it back and said how great i was! last year, the students used to enter themselves as teachers and then tell everyone how amazing they were.....it was kind of funny!
