Teachers......

Are you/did you invite your principal and assistant principals as well as other co- workers????

I invited co workers that I was really friendly with. I did not invite my principal, as she was a wreched, evil, psychotic troll. I would have invited strangers off the streets before inviting her!!

Hi, I am inviting both pricipal and assistant--I have a good relationship with both so I think it is the right thing to do :)

I will invite a few people from work but I was not planning on inviting my principal or V. Princ. This is my first full year there so I am still making friends but I would think it would be weird to have them there.

Yeah. My Principal and Assistant Principal are very nice men! They have treated me very well over the last three years. It's mostly everyone else that I'm doubting inviting :) You know how it goes when you work with only women! I can't even talk wedding stuff with out them looking at me bad.

I am not! I have a HUGE dept and I know I can invite all but still I want 15 people from the dept...times 2 is 30

so when it is closer to the invites going out we will see...some may be on a B list or i may just not invite any and explain how it was too much $$ but i want them at the church if they can..i know thye would understand

I htink it depends on the overall size of the wedding... I'm trying to keep mine in the low 100s - so i'm only inviting close friends from work. there's no way i'd be able to invite the chairmen of my department, the principal, 3 vice principals, and the other 30 people in my department...madness!!

i woudl recommend inviting who YOU Want to be there, not doing it out of guilt - i think most people are understanding. don't worry about insulting them!
