no way!!! no snow day please!!! then they take a day away from my april vacation and i don't want to lose another day.

delayed opening would be great BUT NO SNOW DAY!!!!!

I work at a day care, does that count? I hope we do but I know we won't. Smithtown cleans their roads good.(Unlike brookhaven:()

I know I'm praying !!! We have not had a snow day yet, and it would be really nice! I can spent my whole day on LIW's!

You usually get 3 snow days before they start taking days away from you in April. Did your district use all their days already? Our district has not used one yet.

Come on girls--- we have a week off in a week! Lets save the days for when its nice out and we can do stuff besides sit inside and eat ice cream!

You usually get 3 snow days before they start taking days away from you in April. Did your district use all their days already? Our district has not used one yet.

Our district doesn't have specific now days - there are a couple of contingency days so if we need a snow day they take it away from the breaks - 1st april then memorial day weekend

We never get snow days. I work in Bklynand I live in NHP. The traveling stinks. But if the parents can get to work, then the kids have to go to school. Oh well!

I am praying very hard for one. My district hasn't used any so far and if we dont use them we lose them. I would love tomorrow off! Would be awesome if we knew before tomorrow morning!

I'm a school consultant and work for NS-LIJ, so I would still have to go into the office, but a snow day would be awesome - would give me a chance to catch up on office work, otherwise I have to be in the schools all day!!!

I'm sort of optimistic because the last time we had such a huge snowfall (a year or two ago), they couldn't get the buses dug out so we had the day off. Boy could I use a day off this week to finish getting ready for the wedding!
