Teachers

I'm not..I already have to go an extra day the last week of June...if we have another snow day..I have to go for more days that last week...it really stinks!!!

I was hoping for one but I only got 6 inches here in thew Poconos!

I'm in NYC and praying for one, but sadly the roads are pretty clear already... even with 24 inches of snow in Central Park we can't catch a break and a day off, eh? What will it take???

I work at a day care, does that count? I hope we do but I know we won't. Smithtown cleans their roads good.(Unlike brookhaven:()

My friend is a teacher in middle country and she has off tomorrow...they called her already to tell her...so there is hope!

There are a bunch of schools closed, but mine is not yet! If you work in Levitown, Long Beach, Connetquot, Sachem, etc... you are off!

I just checked nbc website- they only have lawrence and longwood closed in long island-- where did you here about the others?

no way!!! no snow day please!!! then they take a day away from my april vacation and i don't want to lose another day.

delayed opening would be great BUT NO SNOW DAY!!!!!

You usually get 3 snow days before they start taking days away from you in April. Did your district use all their days already? Our district has not used one yet.

doesn't work that way in my district. we were off once already and we lost a day in april for it. if we're off tomorrow, we lose a second day.
