YES! This is my 2nd year in my school district & we never had a day off or a delayed opening...gota love the south shore!

im hoping we have off, but i might end up losing a day off from april vacation- which would stink... i guess whatever happens happens-- cant control the weather

NO! The parents will all have to go to work so they will never keep the kids home.

I doubt it. They have lots of time to get the roads cleared up. Probably lots of kids will be absent though...

I hate delayed openings though. The kids are nuts and it takes me forever to get to work because I have to leave later.

Id rather just have school or no school

Last year in January when we had that bad storm, we all had snow days on Monday and it stopped snowing earlier than today. They even closed a ton of districts Sunday night. We'll see what happens....

You guys are lucky in a sort - your district can cancel/delay school. I have to wait to hear from Albany to see if they will close Stony Brook!!! Hopefully we'll all get extra rest for tomorrow, although FH has off b/c he works for the Town of Brookhaven for Lincoln's Bday.
