Re: Teachers
I know a few people who work in the district. One at Kramer Street Elementary, and a few at the middle school and high school. Many of them graduated from South Country District. From what I know, they are all happy where they work. It's a diverse school district. I'm not sure of administration in the middle schools, but I haven't heard anything negative. The pay is ok I think, not one of the higher Suffolk Cnty School Districts in terms of pay. Nassau pays much better than Suffolk starting out in general. A reading teacher's slot is a great position to get. Good luck!

Re: Teachers
Sorry I can't help....I work in Nassau and have been out of the interviewing circuit for enough years that I don't know what other districts make anymore! Either way, best of luck to you!
