in what area are you taking it?my area is common branch/general ed./K-6 (cant recall the official name) - i took the CST last year and there was a LOT of totally stupid stuff on it that i constantly asked myself WHY i needed to know the info to be a teacher!
my advice: take your time, and bring your 'common sense' with you!

good luck!

Go onto the website and look over the questions. Some of the sample questions were EXACTLY the same on the test. And look at the essay carefully, it too was almost the xact same thing on the test, it actually was the same, just used different names!! Good Luck!!

Yeah- definetly look at the sample questions, the essay definetly! That was the hardest part for me...The test really throws you off, you will leave having no idea how you did.... At least I did :) I also finished fairly quickly and people were looking at me like I had five heads. I did a lot better than I expected so don't worry too much!
Good luck!

If you can BS good, then you'll ace the essay. I failed it the first time and when I took it over again, I passed. I just read everything carefully and usually went with my first answer if I didn't know the answer. If you second guess yourself, you'll fail. Good luck!!
