I received my packet to do my video for my permanent certification. Well, I went in to school today and asked about the video camera. Well, turns out ours was stolen and they never replaced it. So now I have to do this video and have it turned in By June 18th and I have no video camera. Now, DH and I have a video camera, but it is the mini tapes. Is there anyway of taping with our camera and transferring it over to a VHS tape. Has anyone done this?? Does anyone know a place that will transfer from the small digital tapes to VHS. I am in such a panic that I am not going to be able to do this. HELP!!!!

Yes, inquire at a photo/video store about transferring the smaller tape to a reg sized one.
or
my friends and i rented a video camera to go away on vacation. you could try that too.
Ps--Rite Aid transferred a small video tape to DVD for me in the photo dept

Both DH and my Mother only had the mini and that is what I did. I transferred it from the mini to the regular. Just make sure that there are no glitches in it when you are done transfering it and all will be fine.

You can easily tape the little ones onto a VHS. What I do is hook my camcorder up to my TV so that I can play back the video (I can either watch the video on the TV with the camcorder hooked up or record it to VHS). To record it to VHS, just put a tape in the VCR and while the camcorder is hooked up and playing on the TV, set the VCR to record. This is what I do and I haven't had a problem. If you can, give it a try tonight...just do a 1 min. video and try to transfer it to VHS.

just make sure oyu follow all the rules for the video. there is a lot of technical things oyu need to be aware of or they dont accept the tape. I thought as of 2/04, they got rid of the video?
