Re: Teachers?? I have a question.......
I did most of the big ticket item, so this summer I'd like to get done:
BM dresses
Favors
Placecard holders
Unity candle
Mail STD cards
Book Limos
Book HM
Order the CH napkins
Order any labels we'll be using
Get Hankies for MIL and Mom
Make rice/birdseed/lavender tulle bags for throwing after the ceremony
Have a 'in memory of ...' candle made
Book a salon for day of for hair and makeup
Music for ceremony
I'd love to do the invitations, but I am affraid something will change.
I think that is it. It will be a BUSY summer.

Re: Teachers?? I have a question.......
That sounds about right. I have most of that done already, but I know that this summer I want to pick out dresses for the girls, pick types flowers (I have a florist already), wrap favors, pick out paper for the programs (I'm going to print them closer to the wedding). Oh, I want to find someone to do my hair and make-up too.

Re: Teachers?? I have a question.......
Hmm...well, the only things I have booked are the ceremony/reception location and one of the two officiants we need for our ceremony. So I guess I'll be using my summer to try and get as much of EVERYTHING ELSE done as I can!!
We are close to booking a photographer, and I'm in the process of picking out STDs. I'm also going to begin the search for my dress on July 11th...I can't wait!
What's on everyone else's agenda?

Im also tutoring 3 students. Let me remind you, this is all while my darling FI is in Greece livin it up. What a life that boy has!!! But i love him

Re: Teachers?? I have a question.......
I work six weeks in the same building with the same kids (special ed) for a little more than regular pay in a highly air conditioned building. Why spend money on my own Con Ed bill when I can spend someone else's? I'd be doing it anyway. It sure beats working in a day camp in the sun til 4pm. I'll do that when I have kids so they can go for free. Thats what teachers do!!!

Re: Teachers?? I have a question.......
I'm not working this summer. I have a few pd sessions to attend, but that is it.
I plan to do a few diy projects - maybe my slipper basket. I am going to go with my BMs to place the order for their gowns. I also need to find my shoes . I would like to book the honeymoon - but we'll see about that.

Re: Teachers?? I have a question.......
I'm planning on finding and booking a florist, shopping for BM dresses, and looking for favors. I don't want to start and programs or gifts yet...I'll worry about that in the winter/spring. I'm working at BOCES this summer though so I really won't have any more time than I do now!
