do you have to change your name for your teaching certification?
I am finishing with student teaching in the fall, I took my exams and have been fingerprinted

Re: Teachers, name change question
I just changed my name at school and asked this same question. I was told that it is not necessary bc they go by your ss # on your certification and you would have to pay for another license to be processed. The sate has gotten enough of my money already ....therefore I am not.

ok, great. thank you!
By the time I have a job, my name will be long changed. I was just concerned that things might not match.
