OMG, my kids are totally off the wall today. Of course the Valentine sugar didn't help, but man...they are just so wound up since they walked in. I'm hoping the entire week is not like this!

Re: Teachers--Off the Wall Kids today?!
well, since we started off the day with an assembly, and they knew we would have a little (i said little) party for v-day...well, that little party apparently meant something different to all of them and that was ALL they could think of!!!

Mine were pretty normal though they have been pretty rowdy for a while but since we are not having a break until March, I am hoping they poop themselves out!

Mine were pretty crazy. It definitely worse than Xmas and Halloween! I think it's because they had their little Valentines they wanted to hand out. I'm glad it's over, and then I feel like such a grinch all the time!

Mine were totally crazy...I recall them being the same way the week before xmas break. non teachers say our jobs are so easy.....let them do it for one day !!!!(Then let them try to do it another day during a week before a vacation)

Re: Teachers--Off the Wall Kids today?!
Things got worse after I posted...
We got a new student (now up to 15 3 year olds!)
End of the day this little girl wouldn't stop crying (she cries often so I wasn't very concerned). We then walked down to be dismissed (she goes to afterschool) & was still crying, so I pick her up (she's 3) & was hysterical. All of a sudden she starts vomiting (all over my coat & shoes), I put her down & she proceeded to be sick 5-6x. Didn't help that it was dismissal & all the older kids were like yuck, ewwww. Luckily my asst. was there & was able to clean her up while I got cleaned up & we called her mom.
Another child kept saying there's a bug, there's a bug, I walk over & she put her bag on the table & out crawled this roach (SORRY, Nasty, I know) onto the table while the kids are eating SNACK. URRRRRRRR! YUCK!!!!!! EWWWWWWW!
That is one thing I cannot stand.
I'm hoping the rest of the week gets better...my cruise is keeping me going (& my bf & I picking out my ring last Saturday!!!)

That;s why we have our little parties at the end of the day...ALWAYS. Let the parents deal with it!
