If a school just emailed me that they would like me to have another interview with the principal and meet with HR but also send them my references now what does this mean? What do you think will happen in the second interview. I'm so nervous/excited. This is my 3rd year searching for a job.

Good luck!
In the first interview, did you meet with a pannel of people? If so, the 2nds interview would be perhaps interviewing with 2 principals and then the 3rd would either be a demo lesson (if the district does them) or interviewing with the superintendent.

Good luck date twin. I went through the same thing....took me 5 years to get out of the bronx. It was worth the wait though...I love my new job on LI

every district does interviews SOOO differently so it is hard to say...Good luck on your interview!!

Every district is different, but it's always good to be called back for another interview.
My guess is that they've narrowed their choices down to just a few candidates, because I can't imagine that the principal would have time to interview a whole bunch of people. Have you already done a demo? Usually the principal interview comes after the demo.
