Thanks girls - - -I just wasn't sure. She and I speak on a reg. basis and she is extremely supportive of me. So I was going to invite her...just wanted some feedback

I would not. my P and VP are nice but i would not invite them, same goes for FH's. I know how I am and it would stress me out too much to have them there... my private life is my buisness and i dont want them to form any impressions of me... does that sound wierd?

no i agree and FH and i work together so i dont really need them seeing us in a romantic way..i want to keep it strictly professional at work!!

nope it totally up to you i mean, my principal and i go to happy hour with our teachers so it is a different relationship

Not weird at all - I completely agree. I feel like the only thing my boss needs to know about me is that I do my job, and I do it well.

No doesn't sound weird at all! I agree. The only relationship I have with my Principal and AP is a business/work one. In fact I'm lucky if my Principal even says hello to me when I see her. So I am definitely NOT inviting them! And like you said, I think I would feel uncomfortable having them there.
My FH is a teacher too and he isn't inviting his administration either. We have over 250 people to invite so we are just not doing coworkers/bosses at all.

My district, North Babylon is always looking for special ed. teachers. We have a huge special ed. population. I have only been there 4 years and there are about 25 teachers underneath me in senority. Send your resume to central office

I work in a small school, so my relationship with admin is different from what you'd typically see. The AP and Principal are two of my favorite peple on staff, so they're definitely invited.
