Just relax and do what you know. If they're calling you in for a demo, they already think you're great do don't even worry. I'm sure you'll be fine. Good luck!!!!

i do actually - it's a FABULOUS math/language arts lesson based on the book 'Pezzettino' by Leo Lionni. In the book, the characters are all made up of a bunch of little squares, and there's one dude that's just ONE square and he's sad. So i read the story, and ask what they notice about the 'area' of the characters --- and we talk about 'square units' and things like that - then i teach about area and perimeter...then they get to create Pezzettino characters of their own on huge paper (i have 2345098 tiny 1-inch colored squares of construction paper) and they figure out the area and perimeter of their own character. it should be cooler than it sounds...but im just nervous that things will go wrong. like...maybe they won't have the background knowledge they need or something. that's the hard part about going into a class blind!! ugh.

Don't worry....you will do fine. Make believe they aren't even there. Picture it as if you are in your own classroom and it's just you and the students. Be yourself...and do not show you are nervous.
Your demo lesson sounds great and I'm sure they will love it.

Good luck!!!
