i did about 4 yrs ago. i dindnt make it though. i gave up on teaching after that. from what i remember, it was a bunch of workshops where you go through diff scenarios, u work in groups, do mock lesson plans, do mock lessons. it was like a full day.

You quit right after the interview process...or you stopped after you had already started teaching ??

i stopped trying to become a teacher. i had education credits, i was sub teaching for like 2 yrs and after the interview they still didn't think i was teaching material...i guess. so i said it wasn't meant to be. i wish you the best of luck though!

I was a teaching fellow 5 years ago. I went thru that interview and the interview for Teach for America they were very similar. If you have questions FM me. I have tips but its too much to write here.

I interviewed during the last session. It was 5:00pm-10:00pm. First they seperate you into groups my group was 8 people. Then they had everyone do there 5 minute lesson plan.

We all then left the room for a break and when we came back we were in two groups and discussed an article that we all read on our own. ( the article was not the same article they had you read before you went).

Then after that we had our individual interviews and that 10 minutes each.

The lesson plans they liked were the ones where you involved the class.

I did not get it but from what I was told 17,000 applied and they interview 4,000. I do now know how many people they chose.

Goodluck!!!
