Here's my 5th Grade classroom. I'm soooooooo excited/nervous about tomorrow!!! I don't have anything on my boards yet because we're not allowed to put anything up until we teach it! (makes sense)

Hey..I know that room. I have seen it. You will be fine. I want to take pictures of mine tomorrow!

I think we are the only species that get excited over a laminated poster, a sale at Lakeshore or LL Weans and get all butterflies in the stomach when they see pencils and notebooks hit the shelves early August LOL

Really? My school is like your basic middle school, not many bulletin baords in the hallway, noone really has a decorated room, but the kids switch classes every 42 so its not like we have the same kids all day

oh no- i have 2 big bulletin boards in the back of the room and closets that have bulettin boards on them. on them we must have a word wall and student work (updated monthly on it) . we also have to have rituals and routines posted up, a noise meter,a parking lot (where students can put questions that they dont ask in class) and some other random stuff. we also are suppose to keep our desks in groups.
edited to add: our students also switch every 40 min- i dont have the same kids all day

Wow, if I wanted to do all that I would have been an elementary school teacher. Thats one reason why I chose middle school, b/c I don't like to do all that craft and decorating stuff.
