Tealight Favor

Tealight Favor

I received some great feedback about favors from you girls, but needed your help one more time. I'm doing a donation favor, but wanted to give a little something extra. What do you girls think about putting a tealight in a little organza baggie with a tag that reads something like:

'We hope you'll enjoy your night knowing that you've made someone's life a little brighter.'

I think its a cute idea but would the tea light be in a holder?

I did this too. I got the tealight holders from ikea...thay were .49 each, so I got everyone two. They are reversible. One side holds a taper candle, the other a tea light. i attached a card about the donation and wrote Keep the light burning bright...

I wasn't planning on it because they come in the little metal holders. But, the Ikea ones are cute. Have to see how it works for the budget. Otherwise, just thinking organza bags.

Hmmm I thought it'd be in a holder, why not do little votive candles?

You can buy votives in bulk at dollartree.com and save on shipping if you pick p in the store...they have cute colors too and they are pretty small, so they fit in an organza bag. They come in glass...

Candles for less has bulk votives as well...

Thanks! I was looking at the tealights on this page, but the votives are cute too.

What do you think about scents? Unscented is probably best, right?

I like scented, but a lot of people have allergies these days, so you might want to go with unscented.

i really like the idea ... you could also try mini flashlights or something (though i have no idea what those would cost )

ETA: oriental trading has them for $5 per dozen which is a great price, IMO: Oriental Trading
