When did he say or recommend doing it? Are you just doing it once?

We are wedding triplets!!
My dental hygienist said not to waste the money and use the whitening strips.
I am however still considering going to a company at Walt Whitman mall for a single treatment within a month of the wedding. Normally I would need 6 treatments per the technician in the mall, and I don't have that kind of money.
Age, genetics, wine, certain medicines, staining fruits like blueberries, soda, cigarettes, other tobacco products and caffeine will darken your teeth. As I like my chocolate I will need a touch up before the wedding whether by technician, dentist or whitening strips.
Just remember, if you do go the whitening strips route due to time or finances, not to over do the frequency they recommend or you Might have tooth sensitivity.
Good luck and Congrats!!

Honestly, I did this and did not really see any results! I was SO disappointed. I used them for over a month, avoided red wine/sangria, chocolate, and coffee (pretty much anything that would stain teeth), and saw no difference from when I started.

Crest whitestrips work awesome but you have to make sure you get the professional level. I believe you have to get them from your dentist. I will never pay to have my teeth professionally whitened, I have always used whitestrips and get tons of compliments on the whiteness of my teeth!

The tech at the whitening place told me it is hard to get your teeth bright white, but you can make them much lighter than they started. The whitening strips worked for me once before to lighten my teeth.
I have heard that if you have to have caffeine, wine, chocolate, soda, you use a straw to keep it away from the front of your teeth as much as possible.

Wise advice. I never let anything I drink touch the front of my teeth!

Try the Kor Teeth whitening system. Both my fiancé and I have done it with great results. It is not cheap but it does work. It is a 2 week process with a once a month maintenance.

I used crest white strips before my wedding. The price of whitening at my dentist was ridiculous and I've heard it makes your teeth super sensitive. I loved the crest strips! I did it for half an hour before bed for 10 days. The stronger ones don't require as many days.
