Tell me about Ronkonkoma!

So FH and I just moved to Ronkonkoma! I need to know everything--best shopping places, restaurants, places to rent movies, best bagels, best Chinese...TIA, can't wait to go exploring the area!

ETA: Any Ronkonkoma neighbors out there?

I gre up in Ronkonkoma..where abouts do you live? We lived all over Ronkonkoma.
Best pizza by the way is Little Vincents over on Portion rd past the Lake. They are world famous and its amazing! LOL

Thanks! We live off Old Nichols (near Ace and CVS)! Have to try Little Vincent's...Anything else we should try out?

Thats where I used to live. ON Old nichols rd. Love the CVS...is you ever go tanning theres a great place right on Smithtown Blvd. The chinese place ( if its still there next to the bank..across from the insurance place..which is my insurance dealer) is good...was anyway.And my Sister used to work in the DELI that was in that shopping center.
Little Vincents is not far at all.
Theres some nice shops down towards Smithtown in the shopping Center next to Part City....and BJ's is by the expressway ( and Hooters as my FH would add!)
OHH yeah you got the NEW walmart down on Vets highway too!

I wanna be back there

Hi.
I am in Lake Grove I have to agree with Best Pizza: Little Vincent's on Portion Rd.
Best Bagels: Bagel Boss
Best shopping: Kohl's and of course Smithaven Mall.
Best food shopping: New Super Stop & Shop on Portion Road
Best Movie theatre: Regal
Best 'electronics' shopping: Best Buy..east on 347
To Rent a movie: I'd say Blockbuster.
**If you ride down Portion Road, you will find A LOT!!**
Welcome to the neighborhood!
I've been living out here since 1999 and now will be moving to East Northport! I will still come out to visit and shop!
Oh and if you like bbq food..Eldorado's in Centereach is good..(Middle country road)..Italian Food..Olive Garden

Thanks for the recommendations everyone! We had Little Vincent's tonight and it was as good as everyone said! Long line but well worth it!

OMG! Have to agree on this one!!! I used to frequent a dive bar called MUGS on Portion Rd. just south of the Watermill!
